Welcome! We are excited to share our venture with our fellow professionals in hopes that our idea will help all of you in getting the support and networking gains that we have come to realize is invaluable in our community of professionals. We have a vision of bringing together LPC’s, LMFT"s, LCSW’s, art therapists, play therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, behavioral health, and mental health professionals to an event where we can mingle casually and get to know one another without all the hustle and bustle of a workshop or convention schedule to attend.

We saw a need for a casual informal way of local professionals gathering to share information about themselves and their work in a face to face environment where we can truly get to know one another better. An event where professionals in our field could meet to gather referral sources with firsthand knowledge of the person we are referring to, give out our own information and tell people what it is we do – our specialties, share employment information and ideas, as well as simply finding support. Our goal is to create a place for fellow professionals to meet and network with one another. A way to be more connected to each other and not just at conventions or the occasional workshop where we bump into someone we saw at a past workshop. We realized the need to connect with those outside our practices or agency and we see how those connections can help all of us equally.

While developing ideas we felt it was of great strength to us as a profession to know one another and what better way than in a relaxed enjoyable evening. We felt that we want to offer more than just a connection at a networking event and have great ideas for expansion of our group to include such things in the future as Lunch & Learns, Continuing Ed Workshops, Seminars, Speakers, and of course this- a casual meeting where we can relax and just get to know one another while we exchange information; something we plan to do quarterly at this time.

We feel it is essential to be connected and make connections so join us and “get connected!”
